Moving up in Brick usually means two deals at once: selling the home you’re in and buying the next one, across town, closer to the water or somewhere new. The agent you hire has to price the first, find the second and line up both closings, so you only move once.
That’s the work Dennis Mark Interdonato does most. He leads The Dennis Mark Group at Keller Williams Realty Ocean Living from its team office at 44 Princeton Ave in Brick, and since January 2024 he has sold more homes in Brick Township than in any other town. Before your home lists, you get a market evaluation and one written plan for both sides: what yours should sell for, what you can buy, and the order everything happens in.
His usual plan uses about 60 days from the end of attorney review to line up both deals, often on the same day: your sale closes in the morning and your purchase in the afternoon. Any offer on his listings above market value has to cover an appraisal gap up front, so a low appraisal can’t undo the sale your next home depends on. Your lender confirms what you can carry.
Brick has a home for nearly every step up, from condos and the neighborhoods through the middle of town, like Laurelton and Herbertsville, to lagoon homes off Barnegat Bay and houses on the Metedeconk River. In September 2026, the Brick homes that sold spent a median of 16 days on the market, so the usual worry is finding the next home after an offer comes in. He talks that through before you list, and if the market isn’t in your favor yet, he’ll tell you to wait.
In his words: “This is not rocket science. It’s just not familiar to you. But that’s why you have me.” See Selling and Buying at the Same Time.
