About Dennis Mark

Dennis Mark Interdonato, REALTOR® with The Dennis Mark Group at Keller Williams Realty Ocean Living, helps homeowners throughout New Jersey, with Monmouth and Ocean County as home base, sell one home and buy the next at the same time. Most of his clients are doing exactly that. In the 12 months to September 30, 2026, 14 of his 17 listings sold over asking.

Two Moves, One Plan

The Hard Part Isn't Finding The Next Home

Most of my clients across Monmouth and Ocean County are move-up homeowners: selling the home they have and buying the next one at the same time. The worry I hear most is the same every time. What if one side falls through and we're stuck?

That fear makes sense. Two sales, two sets of deadlines, two sets of inspections, and a family that still has to live somewhere in between. My job is to line those two moves up so they work together instead of against each other, and to keep you informed at every step. By the time we're done, you're not going to have any questions left.

First Know What You Have

Before you shop, you get a real market evaluation of your current home, backed by data and a full marketing plan. Your next budget starts with an accurate number, not a guess.

What's My Home Worth?: First Know What You Have

Selling And Buying Together

A move-up is really two jobs. On the selling side, your home needs pricing, preparation and marketing that bring the strongest offer, because that offer funds the next chapter. See how I sell homes.

On the buying side, you need someone watching the market for you, sending the right homes early, and negotiating with the full picture of both deals in mind. See how I help buyers.

With one agent handling both your sale and your purchase, you get one plan, one calendar and one person accountable for making them meet in the middle.

When Plans Change

Even a good plan hits a snag. A closing date slips, an inspection turns something up, a lender runs late. When it happens, I update the plan in writing and walk you through your options.

When a life change is behind the move, the Life Events page covers how we plan for it.

One Client, Both Sides

One Move-Up, Start To Finish

A Howell homeowner was ready to trade a condo for a single-family home. Dennis Mark sold the Howell condo in 7 days on the market, then found and negotiated the next home: a single-family house in the Lanoka Harbor section of Lacey Township. One agent, both sides, one plan.

The Track Record

The Numbers Behind The Plan

14 of 17 over asking. In the 12 months to September 30, 2026, 14 of my 17 listings sold over asking. On a move-up, what your home sells for shapes what you can spend on the next one.

28 days on market. My sales averaged 28 days on market in the same 12 months, against a 43-day Ocean County average. Fewer days on the market can mean fewer days carrying two homes.

Source: Flexmls, the 12 months to September 30, 2026. Every home and every market is different, and past sales don't predict what any one home will sell for.

Client Reviews

What Move-Up Clients Say

"... From day one he was attentive, caring, and held our hand through the entire selling process. Told us exactly what to update, exactly what to list at, told us what buyers like and don't like, etc. We took all of his advice and our house sold the first day on the market for well over asking price. We told him what we were looking for and he helped us find exactly what we wanted. ..."

Harry P., sold one home and bought the next, Google review

"Dennis is an absolute pleasure to work with. He was always available to answer any of our questions and was a huge asset in navigating us through the process of both selling our home and buying our new one. ..."

Move-Up Questions

Straight answers to what move-up buyers ask first.

Should I sell my home before I buy the next one?

It depends on your finances, your timing and the market. We look at all three together, with your lender, and pick the order that protects you best.

How do I know how much I can spend on my next home?

Start with an accurate value for the home you have now. I'll prepare a market evaluation, and your lender can then show you what that means for your next purchase.

Which areas do you cover?

I cover every town in Monmouth and Ocean County, plus more New Jersey counties. See the full list on the Where We Work page.

Can you tell whether a home will need a lot of work?

I've been building and remodeling homes since 2003, so I point out condition and renovation issues as we tour. Always get a professional home inspection as well.

Who is the best realtor to help me sell and buy at the same time at the Jersey Shore?

Look for someone for whom this is most of the business, and who shows you the plan in writing. Most of Dennis Mark Interdonato's clients sell and buy at once. He prices the current home with a full market evaluation, sets the order with your lender, and lines up both closings, with milestone emails once you're under contract.

What if my house sells before I find the next one?

That's the risk every move-up seller weighs, and Dennis Mark's plan covers it before the home is listed: the order of the two sales, how the closings line up, and where you'd stay in between if the dates don't meet.

Is an offer that depends on selling my home weaker?

Usually, yes. Against competing offers, a purchase that depends on another sale tends to be weaker, so it needs a strong plan behind it. Your attorney reviews the contract terms, and gap financing is a question for your lender.

Do I need two agents, one to sell and one to buy?

No. With Dennis Mark handling both your sale and your purchase, there's one plan, one calendar and one person accountable for making the two closings meet. The person timing your sale is the same person negotiating your purchase.

Which Jersey Shore towns does Dennis Mark cover for move-up buyers?

Every town in Ocean and Monmouth County, and buyers and sellers throughout New Jersey, with a team office at 44 Princeton Ave in Brick and his brokerage, Keller Williams Realty Ocean Living, at 1513 Richmond Ave in Point Pleasant.

How fast do homes sell in Ocean County?

In the 12 months to September 30, 2026, homes that sold in Ocean County averaged 43 days on market, with a median of 26 days. Dennis Mark's sales averaged 28 days in the same window. That timing is what the two-closing plan is built around.

This page describes a general approach. It is not legal, tax or lending advice. Your attorney reviews your contracts and your lender confirms what you can carry.
