Bradley Beach is a 0.6-square-mile Monmouth County borough that runs from the ocean west to the railroad, between Fletcher Lake on the north and Sylvan Lake on the south. Victorian and Mission Revival houses face the Ocean Avenue lawns and boardwalk, and in 1929 the borough became the first place in the country to charge for beach access, with its own tin badges.

Main Street is the commercial street, home to Vic's Italian Restaurant since 1947 and to Riley Park, where the summer concerts are held. Bradley Beach station is on NJ TRANSIT's North Jersey Coast Line, about 38 miles in a straight line from Penn Station, and Jersey Shore University Medical Center is about 1.5 miles away.
