The North Branch of Beaver Dam Creek forms the Point Pleasant border and the South Branch separates it from Princeton. Midstreams Road and Jordan Road lead in from Route 88, and the Midstreams Road Bridge connects to the Princeton peninsula. The area stayed mostly wetland and woods until about 1940 and was nearly built out by the 1980s.
