The Broad Street Historic District is Red Bank's historic commercial center: Broad Street between Front Street and Harding Road, with the connecting Monmouth, Front and White streets. It grew around the old port of Red Bank at the head of navigation on the Navesink River, with packet service to New York by the early 1800s.

Broad Street is the largest commercial district in the borough, and a section closes each year for outdoor dining. The Count Basie Center for the Arts, named for the jazz bandleader born in Red Bank, and Two River Theater are downtown.

The Homes Historic Buildings
The 1981 county survey counted about 80 structures, including a former hotel and tavern from about 1809, Commercial Italianate buildings from the 1870s and 1880s, and later Neo-Classical and 1930s terracotta facades. Getting Around Walk To The Train
Red Bank station is on NJ Transit's North Jersey Coast Line, Route 35 runs north and south through the borough, and Garden State Parkway Exit 109 is about 2 miles west. NJ Transit buses 831, 832, 834 and 838 serve the borough.

Told us exactly what to update, exactly what to list at, told us what buyers like and don't like, etc. We took all of his advice and our house sold the first day on the market for well over asking price. If you've decided that you are buying or selling your home, your first thought when choosing a realtor is probably "who do I know?". You want a realtor who has some kind of connection to you, in the hopes that they will, actually, look out for your best interest. I hired Dennis in the summer of 2025, to sell my house and help me into a new one. It wasn't an easy sale and my needs in a new house, were complicated at best. Dennis attacked this situation with serious energy and a critical attention to detail. My home sold pretty quickly and by October we were ready to wrap everything up. We loaded everything we owned into a truck and headed to the closing, but the best laid plans are laid to waste. There was an issue with the home I was buying, due to an error on the seller's part. What were we supposed to do now? When it became clear that we were stuck and with no place to stay, Dennis stepped in and set us up with temporary lodging near the new house. We were there for a few days while the issue was corrected. To this day whenever my son and I drive past that hotel, we wave to the "old house". I'm told that these snags are common in real estate transactions. You know what's not common? Your realtor going way out of the way to make sure you're ok at every step of the process.
