The timeframe is peak covid and we had just lost our home to a house fire and had been living in a hotel for a month while I was trying to find a rental home on my own. I had the pleasure of having Dennis Mark sell my home in 5 days. I knew right from the beginning I hired the perfect person to get the job done! He laid out an easy to follow plan of what we needed to do on our end and he literally took care of everything else. Told us exactly what to update, exactly what to list at, told us what buyers like and don't like, etc. We took all of his advice and our house sold the first day on the market for well over asking price. We told him what we were looking for and he helped us find exactly what we wanted. Dude did everyone's jobs for them; on both sides of the transaction: the lawyers, the lenders, all of it. He answered me pretty promptly, talked me off the ledge on more than one occasion and assured me everything would work out. When we walked into our new home after we finally closed, there were a bunch of gifts, and this is one of the gifts that was wrapped. A picture of our first home. If you've decided that you are buying or selling your home, your first thought when choosing a realtor is probably "who do I know?". You want a realtor who has some kind of connection to you, in the hopes that they will, actually, look out for your best interest. I hired Dennis in the summer of 2025, to sell my house and help me into a new one. It wasn't an easy sale and my needs in a new house, were complicated at best. Dennis attacked this situation with serious energy and a critical attention to detail. My home sold pretty quickly and by October we were ready to wrap everything up. We loaded everything we owned into a truck and headed to the closing, but the best laid plans are laid to waste. There was an issue with the home I was buying, due to an error on the seller's part. What were we supposed to do now? When it became clear that we were stuck and with no place to stay, Dennis stepped in and set us up with temporary lodging near the new house. We were there for a few days while the issue was corrected. To this day whenever my son and I drive past that hotel, we wave to the "old house". I'm told that these snags are common in real estate transactions. You know what's not common? Your realtor going way out of the way to make sure you're ok at every step of the process.
