Roebling is the second village in Florence Township, on the Delaware River. In 1904 Charles Roebling bought a 115-acre farm near the Kinkora railway station for a new steel mill and wire rope plant of the John A. Roebling's Sons Company, and from 1905 the company laid out a model town for its workers beside the mill. The Roebling CDP covers about 1.0 square mile of land, and the Census counted 3,585 people there in 2020.

The Homes 750 Brick Homes
Charles Roebling laid out 750 brick houses on a rectangular grid, with main streets 100 feet wide and London plane trees shading the medians. Ten architectural designs were used, most with slate roofs, and the company also built an inn, bank, recreation hall, auditorium, post office and bakery that still stand. Recent MLS-based records show homes built from 1900 to 1950, with 2 to 5 bedrooms.

If you've decided that you are buying or selling your home, your first thought when choosing a realtor is probably "who do I know?". You want a realtor who has some kind of connection to you, in the hopes that they will, actually, look out for your best interest. I hired Dennis in the summer of 2025, to sell my house and help me into a new one. It wasn't an easy sale and my needs in a new house, were complicated at best. Dennis attacked this situation with serious energy and a critical attention to detail. My home sold pretty quickly and by October we were ready to wrap everything up. We loaded everything we owned into a truck and headed to the closing, but the best laid plans are laid to waste. There was an issue with the home I was buying, due to an error on the seller's part. What were we supposed to do now? When it became clear that we were stuck and with no place to stay, Dennis stepped in and set us up with temporary lodging near the new house. We were there for a few days while the issue was corrected. To this day whenever my son and I drive past that hotel, we wave to the "old house". I'm told that these snags are common in real estate transactions. You know what's not common? Your realtor going way out of the way to make sure you're ok at every step of the process.
