Where Silver Ridge Park West Is

The clubhouse is at 145 Westbrook Drive. The mailing address is Toms River, but the municipality is Berkeley Township, and the Census Bureau's geocoder places both the clubhouse and the association's mapped boundary inside Berkeley Township. The municipality decides your property tax rate and township services, so it is worth knowing which one you are buying in.

One detail that surprises people: although the name says Silver Ridge, Silver Ridge Park West sits inside the Holiday City-Berkeley census-designated place, not the Silver Ridge census-designated place. The community is not gated, and it is a member of the Senior Coalition of Berkeley Township Communities, which the township links to from its Community Resources page.

The Homes

Wikipedia describes the homes across all four Silver Ridge Park sections as single-story detached homes built on crawl spaces, with attached garages, on lots of about 60 by 100 feet, with one or two bedrooms. 55places gives 1968 to 1986 as the building years for all four associations together, so every sale today is a resale.

No source publishes models for Silver Ridge Park West alone. 55places names five models for the four Silver Ridge Park associations combined:

• Canterbury: 1,082 sq ft, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath
• Sussex: 1,091 sq ft, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath
• Chatham: 1,121 sq ft, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath
• Yorkshire: 1,318 sq ft, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths
• Glen Ridge: 1,514 sq ft, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths

Since 55places does not say which of these were built in the West section, treat the list as a guide to the area rather than a list for this association.

Clubhouse and Amenities

The clubhouse at 145 Westbrook Drive is the center of the association. 55places notes shuffleboard and bocce courts at the West clubhouse, and the association's website lists its clubs, board, forms and dues coupons. The association launched its current website, silverridgeparkwest.us, in July 2026; an older address that still turns up in search results is not the current site.

Fees and Rules

The association charges a monthly fee. Fees vary by section and home type, and they change every year when the association adopts its budget, so a number printed in an old listing or on a directory site can already be out of date. The association posts annual dues coupons on its website but not the amount. Its public pages do not publish the exact occupancy rule either, so ask for the governing documents before you commit to a home.

Shopping, Medical Care and Getting Around

• Hospital: Community Medical Center (RWJBarnabas Health), 99 Highway 37 West in Toms River, is about 2.4 miles away in a straight line from the clubhouse.
• Bus service: Ocean County's Ocean Ride runs fixed bus routes, including route OC 2 Manchester, which runs through Berkeley to Toms River and the Ocean County Mall, and its Reserve-A-Ride service offers door-to-door trips for county residents 60 and older or disabled residents 18 and older. The county page does not list a stop inside the community.
