How Homes.com Keeps My Marketing in Front of Past Clients

Homes.com lets me upload my contact list as an advertising audience, so the people I already know keep seeing my marketing online between moves. I'm Dennis Mark Interdonato, I lead The Dennis Mark Group at Keller Williams Realty Ocean Living, and I've been a Homes.com member agent since August 2026. Homes.com calls this contact targeting. Here's what it is, why it matters to a seller and what it doesn't do.
What is contact targeting on Homes.com?
It's one of the tools that comes with my membership. I take the contacts in my CRM, which is the system where I keep my client list, and upload them to Homes.com. Homes.com turns that list into an advertising audience.
From there, my past clients and the people in my network keep seeing my brand in digital advertising. They don't have to visit Homes.com or search for a home to see it. The marketing comes to them while they're online doing something else.
Homes.com also gives me client management tools, so the contacts I add live in one place inside my account. The list I keep is the list that sees my ads.
Why does an agent's past client list matter to you as a seller?
Most of my business comes from people who already know me. Past clients sell and buy again. They tell a neighbor, a coworker or a cousin who's thinking about a move. That word of mouth only works if they remember who I am.
Here's where it touches your sale. When I list your home, I'm marketing it to buyers searching online. I'm also marketing myself to a network of people who already trust me and who talk to people looking for homes. Keeping that network current is part of keeping your listing in front of more people.
A postcard reaches a mailbox once. Contact targeting keeps my name in front of the same people month after month, wherever they're already spending time online.
Where does the advertising show up?
My Homes.com dashboard keeps a list called "Sites You Have Been Featured On." As of October 27, 2026, it counted 138 sites in all. Its first page showed Facebook, Instagram, Meta, TikTok, ESPN, CNN, Fox Business, Fox News, MSN and MapQuest.
That list covers all of my Homes.com marketing, not contact targeting alone. It shows the kind of places my name and my listings appear. People see them on the news sites, social apps and maps they already use.
What numbers show the marketing is reaching people?
I can't tell you how many past clients saw an ad last week. The dashboard doesn't break it down that way, and I won't guess. What it does show is how far my Homes.com marketing reaches overall. As of October 27, 2026, on my Homes.com dashboard:
- My listings and profile had 575,401 total views. When I joined in August 2026, my listings stood at 257,069. That's more than double in about two months.
- My listings had 32,763 views across the web.
- Homes.com emails had featured me 2,565 times, and alerts had featured me 7,008 times.
- 647 Colts Neck Rd, an active listing of mine, had 12,282 display ad views on its own.
I date every number because they change every day. When we sit down, I'll pull the current ones for you.
What doesn't contact targeting do?
It doesn't sell a house. No ad does. Price, condition and the first weeks on the market still decide how a home sells. Contact targeting keeps my name familiar to people who already know me, and that's its job.
It also isn't a list of buyers for your home. The people on my contact list are past clients and people in my network, not a waiting room of buyers. Some of them will move. Many of them know someone who will. The advertising keeps me in the conversation when that happens.
It doesn't replace the rest of the plan, either. Your home still gets its own listing on Homes.com, a Matterport 3D tour if it's eligible, my listing agent card with Homes.com's line "Only Homes.com always connects you with the Listing Agent," its own page on this website and, for some listings, Zillow Showcase.
How does this fit the rest of my Homes.com membership?
Think of it as two audiences. The listing tools put your home in front of buyers who are searching right now. Contact targeting keeps me in front of the people I already know, who are often the ones sending me the next seller or the next buyer.
I covered what the membership includes in What Is a Homes.com Member Agent? My Homes.com partner page shows how the 3D tours, floor plans, ads and listing agent card come together for a home I list.
Where should you go next?
I sell homes throughout New Jersey, with Monmouth and Ocean County as home base. My selling page walks through how I take a home from the first walkthrough to closing. If you're curious what your home is worth, my home value page gives you a starting number.
The people who know me keep seeing my work, and when your home is the listing, that's part of what it gets.
